🕉️ Naga (serpent deities)
Shukla Panchami of Shravan (July-August)
Nag Panchami
Nag Panchami is dedicated to the Naga deities (celestial serpents) — considered protectors of underground waters, fertility, and treasure. Observed on Shukla Panchami of Shravan, it's the primary remedy day for Kaal Sarp Dosha. Traditional practices include offering milk and haldi-chandan to snake images, visiting Naga temples, and fasting from grains. Especially observed in Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and eastern India where Naga worship is deep-rooted.
